What this actually is
SignalFlow is a done-for-you automation that sits on the phone number your business already advertises. When an incoming call goes unanswered — busy, after hours, everyone mid-job — it sends the caller a text message within about a minute, holds a real conversation with them, answers the question they rang about, offers genuine availability from your calendar, books them in, and records the whole exchange in your CRM.
That is the entire product. It is deliberately narrow. We are not selling you a chatbot for your website, an AI content service, or a platform you have to learn. One leak, plugged properly.
Any industry. Nothing about this is specific to a sector. If strangers phone you and some of those calls go unanswered, the mechanism applies unchanged — only the conversation script and the ticket value differ. We have written scripts for clinics, contractors, salons, garages, law firms, vets, gyms, movers, accountants and studios, and the build process is identical for all of them.
Why unanswered calls are worth this much attention
Three things stack up to make missed calls the most under-priced problem in a phone-driven business:
- The caller is at peak intent. Someone dialling your number has already decided they want the thing you sell. They are further down the funnel than any ad click, and they are the cheapest customer you will ever get — you have already paid to acquire them.
- They will not try twice. A caller who reaches nobody moves to the next result. Voicemail is largely a dead channel; most people simply hang up. The window in which you can still win them is minutes, not days.
- It costs nothing on paper. A missed call generates no invoice, no refund, no complaint and no line item. It is invisible in every report you look at, which is precisely why it never gets fixed.
Put those together and you get a leak that is simultaneously expensive and completely undetectable from the inside. The calculator on the landing page will price it using your own numbers in about fifteen seconds.
Who this suits — and who it doesn't
We would rather tell you now than on the audit call.
A good fit
- You get inbound phone enquiries from people who don't already know you.
- A meaningful share of those calls go unanswered — most businesses we audit sit between 15% and 40%.
- A new customer is worth at least a few hundred dollars, on the first visit or over a year.
- You have somewhere for a booking to go — a calendar, a diary, a dispatch board.
A poor fit — be honest with yourself here
- Very low call volume. Under roughly ten missed calls a month, the retainer costs more than it returns. The calculator will say so, and so will we.
- You already answer everything. If you have a staffed reception that genuinely catches every call, there is nothing here for you to recover.
- Your customers don't text. Rare, but it happens in some demographics and some regions. If SMS isn't a channel your callers use, this fails.
- You need a human on the first contact for regulatory reasons. Some licensed contexts require it. We'll tell you if we think you're in one.
The pieces, and who owns them
| Piece | What it does | Whose name it's in |
|---|---|---|
| Your phone number | Stays exactly as it is. We add conditional forwarding so unanswered calls trigger the automation. | Yours, always |
| Messaging number | Sends and receives the texts, registered to your business for carrier compliance. | Registered to you |
| The automation | The logic: when to text, what to ask, when to escalate, what to write where. | We build and maintain it |
| The scripts | Every message the AI can send, in your voice. You approve them before launch. | Yours to approve and change |
| Your calendar & CRM | Where bookings and contacts land. We connect to what you already use. | Yours |
| Conversation data | Every transcript, contact and outcome. | Yours — exported on request, any time |
What we won't claim
The figures on our landing page are benchmarks from pilot builds and an illustrative model built from your own inputs. They are labelled that way on the page, and here is what sits behind that label:
- We have no long-run public case studies yet. We are early, and we would rather say so than invent a testimonial. What we offer instead is that you can cancel any month, so the cost of us being wrong stays small.
- Recovery rate depends on your offer, not our software. If your pricing isn't competitive or your availability is three weeks out, a faster reply won't save the booking. It will just tell you sooner.
- Some people will be annoyed to get a text. A small share always are. They reply STOP, we honour it permanently, and they never hear from the system again.
